Martijn Snijder- CEO

Martijn joined Impala early 2011 as Chief
Executive Officer, based in Geneva, Switzerland. Prior to joining
Impala he worked for the world’s largest diversified mining company
BHP Billiton in a variety of global logistics and distribution
management roles, having managed and developed infrastructure for
thermal coal and base metals. Earlier, he was employed by Peterson
Havenbedrijf, the Rotterdam based port Services Company.
Martijn holds a degree in economics, and
majored in supply chain management and port management.
Miguel Pacheco - CFO

Miguel joined Trafigura in October 2007 as
part of the Corporate Finance Team working together with the mining
investment team. Before joining the company, Miguel worked as a
manager at E&Y’s Advisory Services practice in New York and his
previous experience includes the finance leadership program at
Avaya Communications and 5 years at Banco de Credito del Peru with
positions in both the commercial banking and the capital markets
divisions.
Miguel holds a MBA from the Wharton School of
Business in Pennsylvania and a BA from Universidad de Lima with a
major in Economics.
Olivier van Noort– COO

Olivier joined Impala on 1st
January 2012 as Chief Operating Officer. Previously, he worked for
BHP Billiton in The Netherlands and Australia, where he managed
logistics operations, developed infrastructure, and coordinated the
global contract management for their Energy Coal group. Before BHP
Billiton, he was employed by Peterson Logistics, a port services
company in Rotterdam.
Olivier holds a Master degree in Organisational, Personnel and
Career Psychology from the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, The
Netherlands, with a Second degree in Social Psychology.
Charles Bucknall – Managing Director Impala
NEMS

Charles joined in 2010, when NEMS was bought
by Trafigura. Charles is responsible for all Impala NEMS global
logistics and LME operations. He was a Co founder of NEMS in 1993,
developing it from its initial location in the UK into a more
global operation.
Charles is the founder of the International
Metal Warehousing Association (IMWA), the trade association for LME
warehouses, and played a major role in negotiating the current
Warehouse Contract with the LME and the introduction of Sword to
LME warehousing. He was also a member of the LME Warehouse
Committee.
Prior to NEMS, Charles was involved in the
distribution of ED&F Man and Credit Lyonnais Commodity Trading
Funds. After leaving school he joined the British Army where he
attained the rank of major commanding a Tank Squadron.
Miguel Angel Martinez – Managing Director Impala Latin
America

Miguel Angel joined Trafigura in 1992 managing a warehouse in
Peru. Miguel Angel currently manages all the Latin America
operations for Impala. Prior to joining Trafigura Miguel Angel
worked as a journalist for various media and several mining
companies.
Miguel holds a degree in corporate finance and
administration.
Michelle Yu - General Manager of NEMS China

Michelle Lu joined Impala in August 2011 as the General Manager
of NEMS China. Before joining the company, Michelle worked as
General Manager at C. Steinweg Shanghai and had been working for C.
Steinweg over twelve years. Practice in China and her previous
experience includes setting up logistics company and construction
of warehouse facility.
Michelle holds a MBA from Australia Southern Cross
University.
Koen Verbeke- Managing Director Impala
Africa

Koen Verbeke joined Impala in May 2011 as Managing Director for
Impala Africa, based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Koen started his career with AMI, a logistic company with vast
network and logistic platforms in Sub – Sahara Africa. Prior to
become the commercial manager for the African network, Koen was
posted in Uganda and Angola. After 10 years in logistics, Koen moved to Safmarine in
1997 as Managing Director for Egypt. Thereafter he became Regional
Director for East & West Africa based in South Africa, before
returning to Antwerp to head up the agencies in Northern
Europe.
Koen holds a master degree in economics and maritime
science.
