Oil product distribution network

In 2019, Impala Terminals acquired Puma Energy’s Paraguay operation integrating Impala Terminal’s existing fluvial supply chain with Puma Energy’s terminals and distribution network in the region.

The Impala Terminals owned “Puma Energy Paraguay” operation comprises terminals in Asuncion and Encarnacion, with a total storage capacity of 72,000m3. It also leases a terminal near to the city of Ciudad del Este.

These terminals supply nearly 170 Puma Energy branded retail sites concentrated around the main areas of demand in the country and also support the distribution of lubricants and fuels to businesses, wholesale consumers and the bunkering market.

Puma Energy Paraguay assets include a LPG bottling plant adjacent to the liquid terminal of San Nicolas and an aviation terminal at the Silvio Pettirossi International Airport both of which are situated near Asuncion.

Since the acquisition of this operation, Impala Terminals has been refurbishing, renovating and modernising the retail stations and terminal to actively promote the Puma Energy brand and its market share in the local market.

Economy 88+	Red coloured naphtha with RON 88, which has additive technology with HiTEC® 6600 products, acts by removing the particle typical of use and avoiding the new formation of residue deposits in the engine, keeping the injectors clean, thus improving combustion and controlling fuel emission of pollutants from the environment and protecting against corrosion.
Special 92+	Yellow intermediate naphtha with an octane RON of 92, developed for those looking for the perfect balance between power and economy. Fair experience between strength and cost. It contains the HiTEC® 6600 additive package that improves performance as well as its respective combustion and protects against corrosion.
Max Premium 96+	Naphtha of blue colour and octane ROBN of 96, exclusively designed to offer the best quality in fuels, guaranteeing excellent performance and greater power. Maximum experience for the vehicle’s engine. Contains the HiTEC® 6600 additive package offering perfect engine care and protection against corrosion.
Ion Diesel	Less than 10ppm of sulphur. Cetanes greater than 52. Caring for the engine, environment and performance. Green colour.
Diesel	Less than 50ppm of sulphur. Cetanes greater than 51. Engine care.

Extra Gasoline	BASE: Semi-synthetic VISCOSITIES: 5W20, 5W30, 5W40, 10W30 API: SN (The latest in the industry) APPLICATIONS: High-tech lubricant to be used in all types of modern passengers vehicles, SUV’s or vans and light trucks with gasoline engines.
Super Gasoline	BASE: Semi-synthetic VISCOSITIES: 20W50 API: SN (The latest in the industry) APPLICATIONS: Lubricant for vehicles with modern gasoline engines that circulate both in the city and on the highway.
HD Ultra Diesel	BASE: Mineral VISCOSITIES: 15W40 API: CJ-4 (The latest in the industry) APPLICATIONS: Vehicles with diesel engines manufactured from 2010 with emission control technology, particulate filter (DPF) and oxidation catalyst (DCO).
HD Plus Diesel	BASE: Mineral VISCOSITIES: 15W40 API: CI-4 Plus APPLICATIONS: Vehicles with diesel engines that circulate both in the city and on the highway or require protection in severe operating conditions.
