ITG Sàrl completes acquisition of energy infrastructure and storage terminals business and appoints new senior managers to its executive team

ITG Sàrl, parent company of Impala Terminals (the “Company” or “ITG”) today announced that the Company has completed the acquisition of energy infrastructure and storage terminals assets from Puma Energy. The transaction includes 19 infrastructure assets located in 10 countries and will expand ITG’s global footprint. Puma Energy will remain a long-term customer of the infrastructure and storage terminals business.

 

In addition, ITG has strengthened its senior management team to optimize the expanded business from its headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.

 

Kevin Nichols will join ITG as Executive Chairman, bringing over 30 years of experience in the energy sector, most recently as CEO of Shell Midstream Partners (SHLX) and EVP of Shell Midstream U.S.

 

Sjoerd Bazen has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of ITG’s energy infrastructure business. With nearly 18 years of industry experience, Sjoerd brings a wealth of global experience in both operations and commercial areas. He was most recently Managing Director of Vopak’s Singapore business and has previously led their businesses in Brazil, Venezuela and Ecuador.

ITG will operate two business units: Dry Bulk Infrastructure, Distribution and Logistics, which will continue under the leadership of Nicolas Konialidis, and Energy Infrastructure under the leadership of Sjoerd Bazen.
